Iain Sim is a Trustee and Chairman for Friends of TS Queen Mary.

EXPERIENCE

Iain is a qualified solicitor and a teaching associate at both the Universities of Glasgow and Strathclyde on their PG DPLP programmes. He is also a consultant to Strathclyde Business School.

His legal articles have been carried in several major national journals and he is the co-author of ‘Commercial Awareness for Lawyers’.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Since becoming Chairman in 2019, Iain has overseen the dry-docking of Queen Mary, the basic design phase of the project and now the installation of the ship’s steel decks.
